Go West, Young Man!

Talked to Chuck a few times, today....he was out east...just got done delivering near Detroit, Michigan...that's where he stayed last night. This morning he got a preplan..to pick up in Detroit and head to near Denver, Colorado. Luckily, he doesn't really have to head into the mountains, he turns off before I80 goes into Utah...I personally used to love that drive back and forth when I lived in Salt Lake, City and came home, but he doesn't really like it when he's got that big load!! Actually, his load is a little on the lite side...he's only got 10,000 pounds of miscellaneous car parts....a few hoods and big, bulky stuff. Hopefully he won't meet any wind going through Nebraska; if so he'll have a hard time staying on the road. I also hope he gets through Iowa early in the morning (he's probably leaving right now!) to get through before he hits any snow! Hazard of the job!! His delivery for this load is supposed to be on the 8th (Friday, I guess). We missed Grandpa Chief's birthday...Happy Birthday, Chief...you were probably up at the casino!! :) Hope you had a great day!! Anyway, we're staying out of the cold..I've been taking the kids to school every day so they don't have to walk in it. Back to school on Monday...kind of glad. I found out they're converting my program to 4-credit instead of 3-credit classes - I think this will shorten it up by 3months!! woohoo! Only 7 more classes to go...at 2/semester....I have 3 and 1/2 semesters to go...yeay! Well,bedtime...Sam's wanting my attention! Talk to you soon....Robin
