Well, I've been in almost constant contact with Chuck and I could give you a play-by-play, but on Friday he went from Nashville to near Battle Creek Michigan to pick up a load. When he got to the terminal in Michigan the trailer wasn't there....the guy that was supposed to drop it off was on home time - and he took the load with him! Chuck was SO mad! He sat ALL DAY yesterday in Michigan just STEWING about it....and finally the guy dropped it off this morning (Sunday) at 5:30...Chuck needs to get that load to Buffalo, NY by Monday morning. It's funny, because the load originated in Sartell, MN and the guy pulling the load was from Michigan...and Chuck's the one to take it the rest of the way to New York...too funny. (ironic, I guess, is a better word) Anyway, so since he left Wed. he has been driving in rain the ENTIRE time! YUCK!! He's a little worried about the wind, since he's been getting closer to his destination...luckily he has 40,000 lbs to weigh him down. The goal is to stay on the road!!! He doesn't know what's happening after Buffalo, but as we speak he's looking, madly, for a truck stop where he can find a parking spot to watch the game this afternoon! :) Go VIKINGS!!!
